Let's work together to keep our centre safe

Let's work together to keep Tweed City safe
The health and well being of our customers, centre staff and local community is our highest priority. We thank you for making it yours too.

We continue to monitor the advice from the NSW Government, to ensure our practices evolve to reflect ongoing changes.

What’s new?

In accordance with the NSW Government guidelines, the following adjustments to the NSW will come into effect:

From the beginning of Friday, 18 February 2022;

  • No density limits will be in place
  • QR check-ins will only be required for nightclubs, and for all music festivals with more than 1,000 people.
  • Singing and dancing will be permitted at all venues, except music festivals until 25 February

From the beginning of Friday, 25 February 2022, the following adjustments will be made:
  • Masks will only be mandated on public transport, planes, and indoors at airports, hospitals, aged and disability care facilities, corrections facilities, and indoor music festivals with more than 1,000 people;
Masks are encouraged but not mandatory in indoor settings where you cannot maintain a safe distance from others
  • Masks are encouraged but not mandatory for customer-facing retail staff to protect vulnerable people who must access premises and services.

How you can help keep our community safe

It’s important we all play our part in keeping each other safe. We ask that when shopping at Tweed City you follow these simple guidelines.
  • Keep a safe distance between you and others
  • Wash or sanitise your hands regularly
  • Where required, please check in using the Service NSW QR codes, or using the alternate manual check in process
  • Stay at home if you’re unwell
  • Be kind and treat staff and customers with respect

Here’s how we’re taking care of you

We have a number of precautionary hygiene measures which remain in place throughout the centre in the interests of everyone’s safety:
  • Hand sanitiser stations throughout the centre
  • Frequent cleaning of all customer touch points
  • Encouraging social distancing with signage on display throughout the centre
We appreciate we’ve seen a lot of change in recent times, so we’d like to thank you for your ongoing support and understanding as we navigate this situation and keep our community safe.

We look forward to seeing you soon.
