Make meal time even more fun with these easy and adorable toasts inspired by your favourite Disney characters!

Mike from Monsters Inc Toast

Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup frozen peas 1 half cup frozen peas  
• 1 tbs water, boiling 1 tablespoon water, boiling 
• 1/2 slice light tasty cheese 1 half slice light tasty cheese  
• 1 leaf baby spinach leaf 1 leaf baby spinach leaf  
• 1/4 sheet nori 1 quarters sheet nori

• 1/4 tsp light mayonnaise 1 quarters teaspoon light mayonnaise  
• 2 pieces coconut flakes 2 pieces coconut flakes

• 1 slice wholemeal sandwich bread

How to make:

• Step 1: Cook peas in a small saucepan of boiling water for 2 minutes or until bright green and tender. Drain, reserving 1 tbs boiling water. Place peas and reserved boiling water in a small food processor. Process, scraping down side, until almost smooth. Press pea mixture through a fine sieve set over a small bowl. Discard solids.
• Step 2: To make Mike’s eye, use a 3.5cm round cutter to cut round from cheese slice. Using a 2cm round cutter, cut round from spinach leaf. Using scissors, cut a small 7mm round from nori. Using the picture as a guide, layer spinach and nori onto cheese round and secure with a little mayonnaise. Using a toothpick, dot a little mayonnaise on the edge of nori.
• Step 3: To make Mike’s mouth, using the picture as a guide and scissors, cut nori into a 2cm wide x 5cm long mouth shape. Then cut a 1cm wide x 4.9cm long mouth shape from cheese. Using a small sharp knife, trim cheese along the bottom edge at approx 7mm intervals to create teeth. Layer cheese onto nori, securing with a little mayonnaise.
•Step 4: Cut 1cm x 12mm horn shapes from coconut flakes to create horns. Trim 2 chives to 7cm in length, then fold/bend at 3.5cm for left arm and fold/bend other chive at 4cm for right arm. Trim 1 remaining chive to 5.5cm length and fold/bend at 2cm to create left leg. Trim remaining chive to 6.2cm and fold/bend at 3cm for right leg.
• Step 5: Toast bread until golden-brown. Using the picture as a guide, spread puree onto toast to form a circle. Arrange eye, mouth and horns on puree, followed by arms and legs. Serve.

Chewbacca from Star Wars Toast

Ingredients:

• 1 slice Woolworths smooth wholemeal sandwich bread 1 slice Woolworths smooth wholemeal sandwich bread  
• 1 tbs light smooth ricotta 1 tablespoon light smooth ricotta  
• 1 tbs almond spread 1 tablespoon almond spread  
• 1 tbs shredded coconut, toasted 1 tablespoon shredded coconut, toasted 
• 3 dried currants 3  dried currants  
• 1/4 sheet nori 1 quarters sheet nori  
• 3 slivered almonds 3  slivered almonds

How to make:

• Step 1: Toast bread until light golden. Spread toast lightly with ricotta.
• Step 2: Using a 8.5cm long and 6cm wide gingerbread-man cutter, score toast with cutter to create an outline, ensuring you do not cut the whole way through.
• Step 3: Spoon spread into a piping bag fitted with a 3mm plain nozzle. Following the scored outline, pipe the spread to create Chewbacca’s body. Pipe remaining spread into the centre of the outline, then spread to cover. Using the picture as a guide, place coconut onto Chewbacca to create hair. Using the picture as a guide, arrange currants on head to create eyes and nose.
• Step 4: Cut nori into a 1cm wide x 5cm long curved strip. Using the picture as a guide, place nori onto Chewbacca to create a bandolier belt. Gently press short edges into the spread to secure. Cut almonds into seven 5mm square pieces. Using a little remaining spread and the picture as a guide, secure almond pieces to belt. Serve.

Groot from Marvel Toast 

Ingredients:

• 1 slice Woolworths smooth wholemeal sandwich bread 1 slice Woolworths smooth wholemeal sandwich bread  
• 1 tbs light cream cheese 1 tablespoon light cream cheese  
• 1/4 tsp cocoa powder, sifted 1 quarters teaspoon cocoa powder, sifted 
• 2 small blueberries 2  small blueberries  
• 1 sprig continental parsley, leaves picked 1 sprig continental parsley, leaves picked

How to make:

• Step 1: Toast bread until light golden.
• Step 2: Reserve 2 dots-worth of cream cheese. Place cream cheese and cocoa in a small bowl. Stir until well combined. Spoon mixture into a piping bag fitted with a 3mm plain nozzle. Using the picture as a guide, pipe the outline of Groot’s face about 7.5cm long and 6cm wide (at the widest point) and 4cm wide (at the narrowest point).
• Step 3: Using the outline as a guide, pipe 3 layers of long thin ribbons of mixture to create Groot’s face. Using the picture as a guide, arrange blueberries on face to create eyes. Using reserved cream cheese and a toothpick, dot a little cream cheese on the edge of blueberries. Using the picture as a guide, pipe a mouth about 2cm long under the eyes.
• Step 4: Using the picture as a guide, carefully insert parsley into the top of Groot's head to create leaves. Serve.

Olaf from Frozen Toast

Ingredients:

• 1 free range egg, boiled, peeled 1  free range egg, boiled, peeled 
• 1 slice wholemeal sandwich bread 1 slice wholemeal sandwich bread  
• 1 tbs smooth light ricotta 1 tablespoon smooth light ricotta  
• 1/2 sheet nori 1 half sheet nori  
• 1/4 Woolworths Snackables carrot 1 quarters  Woolworths Snackables carrot  
• 3 dried currants 3  dried currants 

How to make:

• Step 1: Cut egg in half lengthways. Using an egg half, make a cut crossways 3cm up from the base of the egg to form the base of the body. Trim top of remaining piece of egg to 1.8cm wide to form the second body piece.
• Step 2: Trim base of remaining egg half to 3.5cm lengthways. Then, cut lengthways on an angle to create a head shape 7mm wide at top and 2cm wide at bottom. Cut 2 x 1cm rounds from remaining egg white to create feet. Then 1cm x 4mm piece from egg white to create teeth.
• Step 3: Toast bread until golden-brown. Reserve 1/4 tsp ricotta. Lightly spread toast with remaining ricotta. Using the picture as a guide, arrange feet, body pieces and head on toast. To make Olaf’s nose, trim carrot to form a 5mm x 1.5cm triangle. To make Olaf’s eyes, cut 2 x 4mm rounds from nori and arrange on head. To make Olaf’s eyebrows, cut 2 x 1x4mm pieces from nori and arrange above eyes on head. Arrange carrot nose under eyes. To make Olaf’s mouth, cut 1 x 1.2cm semi-circle shape from nori and arrange under carrot nose. Arrange teeth on top of nori mouth.
• Step 4: Cut 3 small thin strips of nori about 1.5cm long to create Olaf’s hair. Using the picture as a guide arrange, above head and insert under head to secure. Cut 2 x 4cm long thin strips from nori to create arms. Using the picture as a guide, arrange on toast. Using reserved ricotta and the picture as a guide, attach currants to the body to create buttons. Serve.
